E Learning

Organisations in the Middle East are still unsure about measuring the efficacy and value for money that the relatively new technology offers. E-learning began to gain popularity over the past 5 years with the market still being in its infancy compared to Western Europe and the US. There are still some major concerns about the region’s readiness for the new technology in terms of infrastructure but the concept is nonetheless being taken up by many GCC nations and organisations that are willing to try a new method of learning. Governments across the Middle East are putting a more serious emphasis on education with regard to rapid development in the region despite the many technological challenges that exist with the model. Companies are beginning to see that this method increases flexibility control and cost through blending the best aspects of traditional and online learning in order to leverage the potential of both learners and teachers, creating an interactive, dynamic, multimedia environment that enhances the learning experience. Business Management Middle East is providing a comprehensive source of information for executives across the region of how e-learning can be used as a corporate tool and highlight the potential benefits of e-learning for enterprises.
